Got level 18 twice now - trying different things to see if I can work out what it is triggering the extra rewards but no joy yet.

Nothing here, I've been to 17 twice and 11 and twelve back and fourth on my other accounts. I've read somewhere that this happened last season also for some. I'll keep trying though to look out for it.

I’m stuck with just warriors and riflemen and no way to progress because they die too quick way to make a game mode unplayable supercell!

You can likely progress if you keep earning your three daily chests. That can be done by using artillery to kill one of the engines. It's a slow grind but you can eventually get stronger.

Well this season is much more of a drudge
Gotta unlock stuff you might not want to get stuff you probably want
Upgrades seem more expensive - maybe in my imagination
Supposed to be an Offensive season but 6 of the final stage tech tree are the offence upgrades and the start is all defence upgrades - what is wrong with this picture?

No shields which is a good thing I guess.

Lower level engine rooms are still too easy to take down maxed with just artillery and personally shouldn't be allowed. Watching people who just attack my engine rooms with just artillery makes the opponent look lazy trying to save troops.  I have level two engine rooms at the moment and i'm losing out because of people using this method.

It’s nothing to do with laziness and everything to do with expediency.  I much prefer attacking a base with troops, but (not having Instant Training), I can manage about 3 or 4 attacks before my troops are gone.  Rather than wait 4 hours for them to reload, it’s better to push on with just arty and snipe the odd ER here and there.  Occasionally it results in an unintended win but all I am looking for is enough EFs to claim a chest.  Don’t blame the players please when we are simply using the only tools available to us to progress.

I'd also say that is more an issue at 2ER. As you get higher, I didn't see that nearly as much.

I am totally bored with Warships Season 2 - will make a last minute rush towards the end to get back to stage X

Every base has the same layout - two variations with the spread out base and the crunched up base bottom left of the deck but they are rare
Hardly any deviation in proto's deployed - Doom cannon, Flotsam, SIMO - no lasers, grapplers etc
Pretty much guaranteed wins are only from Bullit core rush - I just battle my way thru stuff, drop and shock and hope, sometimes I win mainly I don't but there is no tactic attacks this season.  Gone is the flaring, shocking, gbeing targets to hopefully guarantee a win.

Every battle is the same thing - Live Die Repeat and Repeat

This is not what Season 1 was, which with all its bugs, fun and entertaining and challenging

Not sure if anyone else here is doing this, but I am maxing everything as I unlock each ER. It’s been a fun challenge. I’m close to unlocking my fourth ER. I’ve been as high as rank level 20 with only 3 ERs. The challenge is that at that level, there’s hardly anyone else with only 3 ERs so I’m constantly being matched with 4, 5, 6, and 7 ER accounts. These are essentially automatic losses. But against fellow 3 ER players I’ve enjoyed good success using all heavy rushes. Shock mines and flamethrowers pose the greatest threat, but I haven’t encountered a 3 ER base I can beat yet.

Soon I’ll unlock the fourth ER. With everything up to that point maxed, what are your suggestions for priority upgrades? For sure Barrage and Shock are important, as well as GBE and TD. I’ll be able to unlock everything immediately, but upgrades will take some time.

Wouldn't bother with the SL - more ER's you get the more likely you will be hit with ER rush and bullitt

GBE increase and particularly troop damage - its all about speed.

I upgraded Kavan to lvl4 to use second wind - it’s maxed out when he is lvl4 ... however, there were two issues with Kavan.

Firstly, I was using warriors with brick - I hadn’t upgraded my smoke enough to use with Kavan.... secondly.... I found that brick and BO is better with Grens to clear in the time scale than Kavan and second wind.

The first won’t be an issue for you. But the second is worth considering - if you want to win, I’d say BO is more important and to leave Kavan until a little later.
