I think there are probably better fixes but those might require more extensive code changes.  
 
 I think it's important that the 2 crystal reward be reachable by mid-level players if they boost.  Right now it's not.  I think there also needs to be a better reward at 20 for high end players.  Right now many/most of them don't want to do it simply for risk/reward reasons even adding 1-2 VP would make it mandatory for them.

I got a suggestion but will be quite hard to create I assume
 
 Give Dr. T 3 difficulties. Easy, moderate and hard and adjust the loot/defenses & statues to the difficulty you're playing.
 
 Easy mode 50% of the current loot and easier version of the old Dr. T with all defensive buildings at a certain level  (mainly for level 25-35) and only 1 guaranteed crystal at in the entire run (level 20)
 Moderate 75% of the current loot, abit like the old Dr. T but now with Shock Launchers and smaller statues (like 30% health and 30% damage tops (mainly for level 35-50) and only 2 guaranteed crystals in the entire run (like 12/16 and 20)
 Hard 100% of current loot and defenses/statues (mainly 50+) as nowas now and 4 guaranteed crystals (3 at level 20) considering this is for the elite among us, 5 VP if you actually beat it! (sounded like a good idea Steko )
 
 That way people can actually see the progress and have possibly more motivation to spend some diamonds.

I think the difficulty should be set so that a balanced player of HQ X should be able to get to Level X without boosting.  If you want to get a bit farther you commit more to offense or boosting. Get a lot farther by doing both.

There could also be more guaranteed shard/crystal drops.
 
 Personally, I never understood why a guaranteed crystal dropped from Volcano Base on Level 12 but not until level 16 on the Island Base. The island base is smaller and more difficult, IMO.

That's what I think is best. I'm hq 17 so I should get to level 17, give or take a level. I could only get to 13 last time after being able to get to 17 or 18 on average on volcano days beforehand. Also, scale the resources to your xp level.

This would be a problem. It would add way too much VPs into the game, causing a VP inflation, or better, SC losing ultimate control over the total amount of VPs in the game.
 
 Perhaps getting intels instead would work well? However, I don't do TF yet, so I don't know anything at all about the economy of the intels.

I hope they make it so mid-level players can beat him again, or at least get to the higher levels. I could only beat him loosing nearly all my warriors, so it was still a challenge. Then, as I begin beating him, they changed it, making it impossible for me atm

Level 20 doesn't make sense at all. People can still beat it not because they got their strategy right but because they have the power powders to pour.
 
 Unlike TF bases, the buildings are also insanely boosted but when you can attack it multi times, it still rely on strategy.
 
 I have summarized my impression in a thread . (it was buried in hundreds complaining threads)
 
 Even the reward is higher, I won't use power powders for it. I don't feel enjoyment or achievement. It's just a power powder race.

Instead of 5 VP, 2 might be sufficient to guarantee players would go for it.  Intels would not be a good substitute, high level TFs generate more than enough Intel.

I think it depends what troop you use.  For Tanks Volcano is usually easier.   For Warriors many like the smaller base although I've heard at least one person (TC?) prefer the volcano for building density.

This will cause the problem of imbalanced statues to be exacerbated though...  Ice would be worthless

I'm at Stage 10 and no Level 44 base would EVER be this hard to hit.
 
 My proposal is if you want to extend the game and make people play longer and spend more, then add more levels to Dr. Terror. Add more HQ levels too so people can play further.

Been saying this all week - add more player levels and content, add more Dr. T levels.
 
 Do NOT juice Dr. T to the point that upgrades are impossible for players - there is literally no way to advance now.

That takes more coding, art assets and introduces bugs.  Simply changing the loot and design of the current 20 level setup is the easiest thing to do as it's just database entries.

Upgrades are hardly impossible.  
 
 The point is to make Dr. T challenging for more of the player base. Dr. Terror shouldn't just be a resource boat that comes twice a week with a few million resources and a bunch of crystals and yet that's what it became for too much of the playerbase.

 I read your post in the link, I suspect if this was the offending post, which resulted in you being banned the term "b**thurt" probably didn't help. When a post uses offensive language, it will provide a reason to become silenced.
 
 A lot of kids play Boom Beach and their parents don't want their children exposed to offensive language. There are also a lot of adults who will simply switch off as well, which means that you will loose half of your audience straight away, regardless of how right you may be or regardless of how unjustly you may have been treated.
 
 When I first was faced with the changes from the update, in my outrage I did contemplate transforming into a troll, but I recognised once I start my journey down the dark side, its hard to turn back.
 
 At the end of the day, if you want someone to respect your opinion (even if you feel that they are not entitled to your respect), the lesson to be learnt is respect leads to respect.
