Hey everyone! In today’s video I try to shed some light on what’s been happening in Warships for the last couple of days and why I stopped making videos. Please let me know what you think about all of this in the comments below!
As always, thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy!

Yeah, I'm stuck and it's really boring. I managed level 15 and now all I do is watch that crappy sailing ship go back and forth between 13 and 15.

I'm done. Subscription cancelled, off to find something else. Let me know if it ever gets sorted.

I am confident that the next season will be the Warships we expected. There is a lot of potential here, come back in a month (probably less) and give it another go.

The problem with stuff like this and life in general is there is always someone smarter out there and we just have to roll with the punches and improve. Warships is improving by smart players breaking it and supercell fixing it. Yes maybe (definitely) there should have been more testing and expectations managed better but this is it now. This is the testing phase and at the end of this we will have a great game.

As Shiskabobber said just play around this season, learn and practice then when next season comes around go for it.

It's okay saying play around for a season but that's a month and there just isn't enough in the game to maintain interest that long.

Twenty-eight days of a cartoon pirate ship going left or right after every match. Having 99% of the opponents bases looking EXACTLY alike and a chance to upgrade something once in a blue moon just aren't worth it.

I'm not sure what type of person that might appeal to but it isn't me and I know the rest of my TF feel the same. After all the hype we expected better.

Yes it is theoretically a month but I think and hope they will cut it short, especially if players (like you and me and many others) tell them what they think but ultimately we need supercell to continue to fix and improve Warships so that when the new season does start it is fair and fun.

I know that everyone is disappointed but RickC and supercell are really putting in the hours to fix this. Yes we are angry and disappointed that things have turned out this way but if we get a better game at the end of this painful process thanks to everyone’s feedback and work then that is a good thing.

Maybe they will but there simply are not the words to express how boring the game is. I just watched re-runs of my last 12 attacks and they are absolutely identical.

Twenty-eight more days of 'that' sailing ship and attacking a delta-shaped base with an engine at each tip and three down the middle...mind numbing.

That is the feedback that supercell needs 👍🙂 But also what would you and your task force find interesting.

I'm not sure it can be made interesting without turning it into a game in its own right and adding many more features.

If it were easier to change and save bases, thereby allowing for easy experimentation, that might keep people interested for a while. Have the option to change the deck shape to go with that too.

Laser guided sharks, nuclear giant squid, exploding penguins....hell, I don't know. ;D I just know that as a customer I'm not prepared to buy what's on offer any more. If I'm looking for a pair of shoes and I don't like what 'Cobblers To The Gentry' are offering I buy elsewhere.

As I have half a day to kill I've just spent the last couple of hours deliberately losing about 20 attacks to get down to Level 10......just so I can work my way back up to Level 15 again. As it stands that's all this game has to offer and I doubt I'll want to do it a second time.

Edit: How about co-ordinated attacks on NRP bases. (Say) Two TF members at a time team up to attack a larger ship, a sort of mini-op but with one hit only.

Okay, my last comment on this.

As described above I played to lose until I got back down to Level 10. From there the first six players I came up against ALL retreated as soon as I began my attack. Pretty farcical really (yes, I am aware of the irony that I'm complaining about people doing exactly what I've done myself). ;D

Good luck with it guys. The game's all yours.

I don’t think this could be turned into a game in its own right. I’m just surprised it took them this long to do something they already have in a different game of theirs.

There needs to be loads of improvements. You mentioned other troops, yup! New troops and abilities (like the proto ones, plus defenses...all would be cool. That is what happened in Clash...but we didn’t get it.

Also, the ability to share a replay (if u can do so I haven’t worked it out, please tell me! ) and to show the others info such as troop level and losses as you would any other attack.

I don’t think that all the people retreating are doing so to drop places. I do it because I can’t possibly win and don’t want to lose troops.

It is unfair to drop levels like that. It shouldn’t be allowed. But it is an allowable feature of the game and unfortunately the only way you can advance :(
So I don’t blame you for doing it.

And I am still wanting a TF v TF option where we can design something like our own OP bases  to challenge the other team.

Okay, maybe one more comment. ;)

I don’t think that all the people retreating are doing so to drop places.

Oh trust me, many of them are. The match starts, I get the message saying the other player has started, I throw 1 x smoke to start my clock ticking (so the other player receives the same message). I then waited the full four minutes and in at least half the matches neither of us has fired a single shot. On the replay I can see them landing one LC then immediately recalling the troops or simply do nothing. It's like a contest to see who can wait the longest and I have had several draw results because neither of us did a damn thing.

I wasn't doing it to advance, I was doing it out of boredom. There's no point in me working back up to level 15 because I'll get stuck again.

Since my last post on this thread I have played perhaps 20 attacks of which maybe two were against genuine level 10-11 players (I surrendered each time to give them the win). Looking at the bases of the others they are very obviously players who, like me, have dropped back down. I'd like to think they were all just bored but as you say they may have other purposes.

And I agree on the options you listed above (share replays etc), I forgot to mention them earlier.
