Giving up on dropping my vp
« on: Mar 13, 2019, 04:10 PM »
Spent a few days only doing dailys and events. Not clearing my map was driving me crazy! Had to clear this morning! Only down to 1339vp! Guess I'll just continue the slow grind upward!

I don't know how you maintain your VP. I've been in the mid to high 800s for several months. I've stopped the bleeding from usually being near 1000. I don't use any ice so my guess is not many player use "Find New Player". Due to job constraints, I can only clear my base in the evenings. The only way I see that I could possibly increase my VP is finding a way to log in several times a day to play or use a lot of ice. That is not going to happen.

Being Semi retired gives me plenty of time to clear map every couple hrs or so.
Still winter in Montana, so other than raise my 3yr old grandson. I've not a whole lot better to do. Lol

1 clear session daily is fine to progress upwards, but it must be a full clear, and then leave the event until the very end of rhe day.
Plus your base designed well enough to detract some of the attackers.
You should see between 6-14 raids daily, ideally a mixed bag of PvP & npc.

I went from 800 to 1000 in a couple months and to 1200 in a couple more.
Now on a semi clear on the crapper in the am and full clear before bed pushing towards 1300

I've come to the point where I don't care if my vps go up or down. In the 1350's got to where I need to dang near have to have a full boost to clear map! 1320's now, not trying to drop or gain anymore, so what I get or don't get. Will be?
Joined a new tf, (world class players!feelin a bit out of my league! lol) evening op, plus getting that time of year where I start working the property to keep the rent paid; so I'll mainly just be clearing once in the evening. As long as my intel rate stays up.
Figure at my current pace, it'll be close to a year before I complete strategist. Whether that will be end game for me or not, to soon to say.

Congrats on your level of VP.

I'm sitting around 850ish and when I look at what is offered for increasing past 1000 VP for the daily reward boat I don't see enough incentive when looking at the increased time involved to accomplish and maintain that.

I receive 7 shards, 3 intel being over 820VP  and if I were to push over 1000VP it would increase only 1 shard.  No change in Diamonds, No change in Intel.

Resources are not even worth putting in the equation.

Work vs. Reward increase doesn't compute for me.

Congrats on your level of VP.

  Lol thanks Brez,
And yes I agree with you! My vp doesn't pair well with my skill lvl.  Lol...
If I could wake up with a few hundred less vp I'd be tickled; but actively trying to drop effects my intel, where ever I am, I play for the team. So up or down, I'll just keep grinding on..

Hmmm. Don't know how I merged that all together or how to fix it, sorry I'm about as tech savvy as my dawg...
