Boom Beach Sculpture Review

I suggest that as fragments can be freely converted to shards, so should shards be converted to crystals and also crystals to powders instantly. Otherwise, if you so need a status for your base, you will have to wait for it to be constructed by the sculptor in due course or better still, use diamonds to speed up the process. The current methods doesn't make sense to me at all. I know Boom Beach need money to keep the game running but not without the players.
Boom Beach is a game and not a job. Players should be given a sense of reasoning  to always wanna play.

Many people have run the idea of a paid shard/crystal converter service past SC. They've shown no interest in updating the Sculptor situation. Believe me, I feel your pain. I spent 4 years with a 29% TD MP on my oldest account. 🙄

At least powder is readily available now, with monthly Crabs.

That would be a great feature!  When do you think is the right time to get rid of the PSC statue?  I am a fully maxed player....I try to keep 100-150 PP on hand at all times.  I have been pondering this for a few months now and wondering peoples' thoughts.....

I personally would like to see a free shard to Crystal feature and maybe have the Crystal to powder one the paid service.

Since the Crystal to Powder conversion is the longest it should not be free however the Shard to Crystal is the 1 hour convert time and it's not that big of a deal to allow it to be a quick convert/batch convert.

The other thing is they to me created a bit of an issue with Shards... You can amass 10-16 a day (depending on your VP) and being maxed I feel most players are going for that one option in the Daily Reward and Daily VP boat..

For me I get 12 a day, that's 84 shards a week, 336 shards a month not to mention stones from the game acquired by raids/events.

Right now I'm looking at my Sculptor and the poor fella can't keep up.

244 Life shards, 230 Ice shards, 877 Magma Shards, 552 Dark Shards

Depends on what you want to do in the game and real life.
Crab provides plenty of power powder and stones.
If you want to do higher level ops then you need all your statues offensively oriented.
If you want to push higher vp then at some point you will need to drop ice which eats powder.
You can kill most bases unboosted until 1300vp with a bit of practice and build up your powder for the future.
I still have my psc too.

I would agree with a paid conversion service but not because I think it is needed, just because people will pay for it and more money for Supercell is good for the games future.
I would make it limited though, maybe convert x shards instantly for a fixed cash value.

Thanks for the comments.  I am @ around 1100 VP right now.....Not really interested in pushing leaderboard or anything like that.  I may switch some stuff around when I see the next tribe cycle.  Right now I start with 100 GBE when unboosted (148 Boosted).  I'm really looking for more GBE during OPS and to take down PVP.  Right now I hit all those UNBOOSTED.

Cannot see people paying for shard conversion - it's not really game beneficial to spend money, yeah it takes time to convert but it's an hour for something that is not affecting your game play like ER
Legends - #9YUCCYQ2
Top 400 and climbing - DE and above

I wouldn't pay for a shard convertor but I would love a free one or at least a chance to do it on Boom Beach's anniversary date. I'm building a lot of shards because I can't visit every hour to start a new statue.

Idea with the converter service would be that frags would convert instantly as normal, shards would convert automatically as evern(still 1 per hour), but both of those would combine to create crystals endlessly, for as long as you had the raw materials.

Basically, a service that prevents you having to log into the game every hour. I think that might be generate some traction.
