Wow that is a lot of accounts orrscores, gotta be a record 🙂
The stages people seemed to reach on the leaderboards seem to be lower across the board, was it harder or were people just not feeling it?
Looking forward to crazy turtles crab roundup to see all the leaderboards and general feedback.
Also odd that there wasn’t a global leaderboard publically available, Supercell did say they where working on something for it so maybe there will be a video.

Was defo a few stages that were a bit crazier than normal
Noticed in Ireland the top ranking was lower than normal, either people feeling the burn or this was a fail for MC
Legends - #9YUCCYQ2
Top 400 and climbing - DE and above

On a serious note. I stopped at 42 with 15 or so attacks left. Mid 20s with my other. I had a busy weekend and I was lucky to get that in.

It just may be peeps getting burnt out.I kind of miss the way It was sometimes.

Got my first Diamond Trophy. Finally had some free time for a Crab weekend. Bit the Bullit and swapped some GBE guards for TD/TH.
Of course my very next Op hit I wipe out on a Complex hit, got to the kill zone just fine, then "oh shit, I've got no GBE left!"  ::)

Hey guys, I’ve been busy with training after work the past couple nights. Looks like Dark Star has the highest score and is not “The Proto-gy”. Congrats

Thanks. This was my last “push” crab, I’m transitioning to VP push here soon. I’m formerly CodenameDuchess (in the old SC forums) but I’ve kinda retired that account to focus on one and the game is losing it a bit for me as I await this update sometime in 2019.  ;D

This is pretty cool site Fritz. Thanks for doing this. I never posted a ton but after it was gone I realized how much the forum affected my enjoyment of the game. Shame it’s gone.

congrats on winning.

This crab was harder. For the first time since the cryo crab I lost a stage before 30, in fact by the low 30s I had already lost like 4 or 5. It was at that point I knew I had to try something... unique... By that point I had taken all the protos out. But I thought on one stage it could work, so I tried a new combination. It was do or die at that point, I was concerned about making diamond, I had tried out a different statue config, which in retrospect is probably the reason my usual tank/scorcher setup did so poorly (I was trying 7 TD 2TH and 1GBE). My radical idea however paid off big time.

I solo'd most of the rest of the 30s, something like 6 or 7 of the remaining 8 in the 30s. One of the experimental troops in particular had a DPS value higher then a boat of tanks, lasers. Most of the rest of the way to 60 I used bullit, four boats of tanks, and four boats of lasertrons. I hardly lost any of them. The only real weakness it had was to simos and shock blasters. Rocket launchers weren't really an issue. Bullit takes most of the heavy damage, the tanks take most of the damage from rockets and such as well as delivering heavy damage to a pinpoint defense. The Lasertrons however deal more of AOE type damage, The help they provided was significantly damaging the defenses in the back making them far easier to destroy. The Lasertrons were hardly ever getting in the line of fire. Which is why I never liked them, but this crab showed me a way I could make them work. I tried using all my attacks at once, once I hit 60, I stopped, I was just too tired. I had 12 attacks left, I wasted a few in the 50s because at that point I just didn't care, I was too tired. I imagine I could've reached 60 with almost 20 if I had realized this troop combination earlier and paid more attention to what I was doing in the closing stages. It also didn't help my fish distracted me by attempting to spawn a day or two prior (sadly none I believe made it, but I'm trying to get it to happen again).

They're Discus, I had my suspicions, but still them deciding to spawn caught me off guard. Though even though I don't think any made it, it was still quite something to look up and see it. Its been a dream of mine for over ten years now, since the first time I decided to keep discus back in like 8th grade. I just need to adjust some things to make conditions more ideal. Your average pet store won't sell them, so you may not have heard of them before, too 'difficult' to keep. Discus are kinda shaped like angelfish, but even more peaceful then even angelfish, and far more beautiful. In my opinion, the most beautiful. A notoriously hard to keep fish, but far worth it. Both of them are more of a dark blue, it became more prevalent as they grew older. They're probably a few months older then a year old, the male likely just reached sexual maturity, it takes them about a year to reach it, a few months longer for males. They're still very young, they can live up to ten years. Unlike with smaller fish, with larger ones, you can really see differences in personalities. Seeing the eggs was so much more enjoyable then any of the diamonds I've gotten. Though those were definitely cheaper, buying things in preparation for another spawn has left me a little light lol.

Nice 👍 I had discus when I was a kid, still have fish but not true tropicals, too much work. If I remember right there are two types of discus; red and blue so TheBro88 was strangely accurate 🙂

well usually brown and blue, also there are heckels (which are even harder to care for then normal discus), but those are very rare, I had one once, which was wild caught, very skiddish. Even most tropicals don't like it as warm as discus though, in some regards that's helpful, not many fish can deal with 90F if you require it if certain diseases rear their head. Still the low 80s generally tends to make the room warmer.

Too much work would be trying to take care of fry without the parents... dear heavens... It would take at least 2+ water changes daily, feedings every 6 hours at least... that makes the 50%+ water changes every few days I should be doing seem mild. Plus its not so bad, I usually just do it while I'm playing BB.

Overfiltrating the tank helps, I like doing that, especially on the 20 gallon tank I used to originally grow these two out I had a filter for a 40-70 gallon on it... though I tried adding a second filter for a 70 gallon onto that... but it made a water current waaaay too fast. Though a long time ago I tried basically putting 5-8 filters onto 30 gallons of water (20 gallons with the fish, and a ten gallon which I put all but one of the filters on). That ended badly, since that ended with 5 gallons of water on the floor in the middle of the night Lol
