congrats on winning.
This crab was harder. For the first time since the cryo crab I lost a stage before 30, in fact by the low 30s I had already lost like 4 or 5. It was at that point I knew I had to try something... unique... By that point I had taken all the protos out. But I thought on one stage it could work, so I tried a new combination. It was do or die at that point, I was concerned about making diamond, I had tried out a different statue config, which in retrospect is probably the reason my usual tank/scorcher setup did so poorly (I was trying 7 TD 2TH and 1GBE). My radical idea however paid off big time.
I solo'd most of the rest of the 30s, something like 6 or 7 of the remaining 8 in the 30s. One of the experimental troops in particular had a DPS value higher then a boat of tanks, lasers. Most of the rest of the way to 60 I used bullit, four boats of tanks, and four boats of lasertrons. I hardly lost any of them. The only real weakness it had was to simos and shock blasters. Rocket launchers weren't really an issue. Bullit takes most of the heavy damage, the tanks take most of the damage from rockets and such as well as delivering heavy damage to a pinpoint defense. The Lasertrons however deal more of AOE type damage, The help they provided was significantly damaging the defenses in the back making them far easier to destroy. The Lasertrons were hardly ever getting in the line of fire. Which is why I never liked them, but this crab showed me a way I could make them work. I tried using all my attacks at once, once I hit 60, I stopped, I was just too tired. I had 12 attacks left, I wasted a few in the 50s because at that point I just didn't care, I was too tired. I imagine I could've reached 60 with almost 20 if I had realized this troop combination earlier and paid more attention to what I was doing in the closing stages. It also didn't help my fish distracted me by attempting to spawn a day or two prior (sadly none I believe made it, but I'm trying to get it to happen again).
